Meeting your Indigenous brothers and sisters in Congress will be a treasured experience.
Meeting Indigenous people in your community will give you a new perception of how you relate to the land and how you understand our nation's past and present.
Covenanting can help you vision our nation's future as peoples who walk together.

The Next Step is up to you. You can -

• Find out about the history of relationships between Indigenous and non-indigenous Australians
• Find out about issues like native title, the Stolen Generations, Aboriginal Deaths in Custody and reconciliation
• Find out about Congress and the Covenant from your local Uniting Church minister
• Visit local Indigenous educational, artistic and cultural centres and listen to Indigenous people talk
• Join or start a reconciliation group at your church.
• Contact Congress and volunteer your services.
• Organise a group of your friends to go on a Cultural Tour - we can help
• Support a Congress Project
• Visit the Congress Church nearest you and make some new friends.
• Visit or do some volunteer work at one of Congress' projects.
• Celebrate, participate and/or get your community involved in Reconciliation Week (May 27 - June 3).
• Encourage your congregation to include Reconciliation Sunday on their worship plan.
