You may have missed September 24th, 2006 but . . . Social Justice Sunday is usually held on the final Sunday in September. It is an ecumenical initiative sponsored by the Social Justice Network of the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA). This year's resource on CD has been produced in collaboration with the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ecumenical Council (NATSIEC) but can be used as a worship resource anytime . . . .. The CD resource is full of film clips, discussion topics, PowerPoint presentations, and interviews. Usually $20 it was made available FREE to all congregations at the Presbytery Synod meeting in NOVEMBER (2006). It includes FANTASTIC resources for worship, sermons, small group studies, Sunday School, and youth. If after checking out those musty cupboards at the back of the vestry you still can't find that copy, the good news is that they are still available (limited numbers) and still FREE! Contact the Covenanting Coordinator for your copy. Worship resources for Social Justice Sunday 2006 may still be useful.
