KCO "will give opportunity to children and adults to gather as 'the people of God on the way together'. Camp Out will provide experiences of Christian community and diversity, growing faith as together we experience belonging, believing, growing and sharing."

Aims

• To develop an awareness of God and a relationship with God as together campers experience faith and spirituality in worship and other ways.
• To model a high quality, children's event.

Objectives

• To build friendships and relationships with varied age groupings through shared experiences and responsibilities.
• To provide a safe environment where all can experience love, acceptance and caring.
• To offer the opportunity for children to practise life skills in a Christian community context.
• To give campers a wider experience of the Uniting Church in Australia.
• To share ideas and resources, human and other; to extend networks.
