SAYCO is an important transitional event for those moving through late primary school and into the early years of high school. It is a time when young people are making their own decisions and thinking of the future. We assist them by providing a friendly, relaxed and comfortable environment for campers to explore faith and offer workshops that help them grow in their leadership skills. We aim to offer and to help equip them to learn how to live out their faith in a society that is continually searching. SAYCO combines camp and conference in a unique environment for teenagers. The program usually includes contemporary worship, communities, small groups, workshops and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to grow camper’s relationships with each other and with Jesus Christ. SAYCO Mission Statement: To enable communities to grow with young people as they nurture them in their discovery of God through Christ, empowered by the Spirit to serve. Vision: SAYCO is an event for young people that encourages them in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; motivating them to action. Objectives: SAYCO is an annual camp for young people across the state of South Australia, aged 12-15 years and a mentor leadership program for 16-17 year olds. It provides a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience the wider church family through fun, worship and learning. It is an important transitional event for young people moving through late primary school and into the early years of high school and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy activities with others their own age.
