LEADERSHIP FOR LIFE WEEKENDS

The purpose of the annual Leadership for Life Weekend is to develop and support a network of young adult Christian leaders across the state. We at Earth believe that young adult Christians are often involed in leadership in many different settings - not just the church.

Participants on Leadership for Life Weekends will develop leadership skills that are relevant to all aspects of life

What to expect

Participants can expect to:

  • Be affirmed and encouraged in their leadership
  • Strengthen their understanding of and commitment to leadership in the church, community and beyond
  • Network with other young adults
  • Be inspired, challenged, motivated and energised by the guest speakers and each other
  • Have an experience which develops their faith, leadership and sense of calling
YE OLDE BOOK CLUB

EARTH's Ye Olde Book Club is designed for young adults who want to get stuck into reading interesting books & engaging in open discussions about topical issues.

We meet on a regular basis over drinks at the end of each book.  We also have a google group set up for those who want to enter into online discussions while reading the books.

Check out http://groups.google.com.au/group/earth-book-club

What to expect

Participants can expect to:

  • Expand their knowledge of different views on topical issues
  • Engage in open discussions about the issues raised in the books
  • Have their beliefs challenged in order that they may continue to grow in faith
  • Be inspired to act for positive change in God's world
EARTHSPACE

A place to engage with topical issues, debate different points of view, learn new things, wrestle with questions, grow in faith, Listen, Share, Live.

We meet regularly to hear speakers on various topics and then go out for coffee to discuss what we've heard. If you'd like to know what speakers and discussion opportunities are coming up sign up to earth email.
