ELC believes people learn throughout life and that there is a great diversity and richness between citizens. It is essential to respect the integrity and value of each individual and communal grouping.
Through the Social Issues and Progressive Christianity Network programs of the Centre, we aim to facilitate informed community discussion, encouraging both an engaged citizenship and open, non-dogmatic expressions of the Christian faith.

ELC is a community organisation, offering education programs, particularly in the areas of:

• relationships, parenting and self-worth
• social justice issues
• men's issues
• the sacred and the creative.

The Effective Living Centre is part of the Christ Church Uniting Church in Wayville.
