A Children's Ministry Resource

Children are a vital part of our church community and valued both for themselves and for their contributions that enrich our lives. Fostering and nurturing their faith is a highly exciting, rewarding, challenging ministry, undertaken by very special, dedicated people in our Christian organisations.

KUCA News is a quarterly seasonal, lectionary-based resource full of up-to-date, Australian, reproducible resources for people who work with children in the church. It is produced under the umbrella of the Mission Resourcing Network for the SA Presbytery and Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia.  It is written in accordance with Uniting Church theology, but aims to resource children's ministry workers of any denomination, acknowledging both our diversity and our unity in ecumenical common ground.

KUCA News also provides both seasonal material and weekly crafts and other activities linked to the Seasons of the Spirit Curriculum

KUCA News is available via email, upon payment of the annual subscription fee of $25. It comes in full colour PDF format, in small bite-sized sections over a period of about four weeks in Summer (January), Autumn (April), Winter (July) and Spring (October). The 2009 subscription year runs from the Summer 08/09 issue. Photocopying permission is included in your subscription, for non-profit, local use. Pro-rata part-subscriptions are available e.g. from Autumn 09: $20.
