On this page you will find a selection of crafts for the seasons of the church year, for special days and themes, with an emphasis on recycled and environmentally-friendly cratfs. Click on the link (right) to find crafts which tie in with the week-by-week lectionary lessons of Seasons of the Spirit. These crafts have been produced by KUCA News in the SA Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia and are available free of charge. However, it would be appreciated if the source is acknowledged. These Bible character finger puppets provide a simple way to let children explore and retell any Bible story. Simply photocopy and adapt for whatever story you are telling. These crafts can be adapted or applied to lectionary themes as well as to special days like Father's and Mother's Day:

Environment-themed craftsand crafts using recycled materials: A caterpillar on a leaf provides the basis for a bookmark, fridge magnet, gift tags and a pot plant marker: Recycled crafts for the theological theme: the first shall be last and the last first, new out of old, losing your life to find a new life...
