These CDs are a useful resource for worship in small congregations or groups where there are no organists or other musicians - or just when the organist would like to have a break. The total of 90 hymns are taken from Together in Song (Australian Hymn Book II)selected and sung by singers from the congregations of Ballarat and include fresh new music as well as well-known oldies. In CD III hymns have been grouped to cater for the seasons of the church year, a great aid for worship planners.
The hymns have been recorded with organ and other instrumental accompaniment, all verses included and an introduction to each which is a great advantage in singing along. The backing of the choir provides confidence when learning new hymns.
Each CD includes a computer file from which the words can be printed when the books are not available. Copyright requirements have been attended to.
